Lord Norton: Philanthropist, benefactor and founder, in Birmingham during 1852, of ‘Saltley Reformatory School’ - later to become ‘Norton School’ - an approved school bearing the name of its founder.
Kineton House: Home of the approved school on return from ‘evacuation’ from Birmingham to Mid-Wales, during WW2, and until closure of the school in 1985.
Rough Close ‘Cabin’: The second of Norton Foundation’s ‘Capital Grants’ was to fund this accommodation for the Scout Camp Site at Rough Close, near Coventry, in 2005.
